1.About Performance

Q1-1.
Does the number of turns required to open the can change?

A1-1.
The number of turns required to open a can varies depending on the strength of the grip on the handle lever and the type of can. The number of turns required may also increase as the product deteriorates.

 

Q1-2.
How many times can this product be used?

A1-2.
This product has passed an endurance test of 1200 cans and it has been confirmed that it can still be used after the test. However, the number of times it can be used depends on the conditions of use.

 

Q1-3.
This product has only one blade. Is there any difference in the opening performance to other products?

A1-3.
We confirm that the opening performance is the same or even better compared to other companies' products. We have designed the blade structure and materials to improve the opening performance of this product.

 

Q1-4.
Does the blade ever rust?

A1-4.
The blade is made of stainless steel and is resistant to rust. However, storage in humid conditions may cause rusting.

 

Q1-5.
There is a white stain on the inside of the aluminum parts. Will this affect the opening performance?

A1-5.
It does not affect the opening performance. White stains may occur due to the nature of processing. 

 

2.About Use

Q2-1.
What kind of cans can this product open?

A2-1.
This product can open beverage cans with a diameter of approximately 52mm to 60mm. When opening steel cans, it may be difficult to open them and the blade may deteriorate more quickly. Other types of cans and cans that have been deformed by dropping etc. cannot be opened.

 

Q2-2.
Will the beverage spurt when the can is opened?

A2-2.
Depending on the condition of the beverage and the position of your grip on the can, the beverage may spurt when the can is opened. Keep the beverage well chilled and grip the top or bottom of the can when opening.

 

Q2-3.
Can left-handed people use this product?

A2-3.
Yes, left-handed people can use this product as well. However, as the handle lever faces the opposite direction to a right-handed user, the feel of the product will be different.

 

Q2-4.
When a can of beer is opened with this product, will the beer foam?

A2-4.
No, beer will not foam when the product is used.

 

Q2-5.
Are metal shavings produced when the can is opened? And do they affect the human body?

A2-5.
We have confirmed that when the product is used properly, it does not produce them at a level that is harmful to the human body (according to the standards of the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention). However, improper use or product degradation may result in visible shavings, as with products from other manufacturers. If these occur, we recommend removing them or discarding the entire beverage.

 

Q2-6.
Is it safe to touch the opening after cutting the lid?

A2-6.
Yes, it is safe to touch the opening if used properly. However, improper use can cause the opening to become rough, resulting in potential injury.  

 

3.About Maintenance

Q3-1.
The blade is no longer sharp and it is difficult to open the can. What should I do?

A3-1.
Try the following methods.

①Tighten a blade screw with an H2 Allen wrench (sold separately).
Repeated use may have loosened the blade screw, resulting in poor opening performance.

②Remove the blade with an H2 Allen wrench (sold separately), rotate 180 degrees, and reinstall.
The blade may have deteriorated due to repeated use. If the blade deteriorates after changing the blade direction, please purchase a replacement blade set from the Official DAVI Online Store.

③Clean around the blade.
Dirt and foreign matter adhering to the blade can reduce its opening performance. Please wash and dry the blade frequently to prevent performance degradation.

 

Q3-2.
Do I need a wrench or other special tools to use this product?

A3-2.
An H2 Allen wrench is only required for blade maintenance. Please purchase it yourself if you would like to maintain the product.

 

Q3-3.
How will this product be packaged for shipment?

A3-3.
The product will be packaged appropriately to prevent any damage.

 

Q3-4.
What is the warranty for this product?

A3-4.
We will repair or replace, free of charge, any defect or malfunction caused by manufacturing defects within 30 days of receipt of the product. Contact us at info@346design.com. However, we do not cover defects or malfunctions caused by improper use.

 

Q3-5.
Can I wash this product?

A3-5.
Yes, you can. Wash the product thoroughly with dishwashing liquid and a sponge, etc., and then dry the product by wiping. Also, be careful not to hurt yourself on the blade.

 

Q3-6.
How should I store this product?

A3-6.
Store the product in a dry place and out of the reach of children.

 

Q3-7.
What should I do if the pull-tab hook comes off the main body?

A3-7.
If the main body and pull-tab hook are undamaged, you can reattach them. Refer to this video.

Q3-8.
The handle lever is broken and can no longer be used. Is there a warranty?

A3-8.
Damage that occurs at a specific point on the handle lever is covered by the warranty, even if it occurs more than 30 days after arrival, because it is caused by a defect in this product. Please contact us at info@346design.com with your name, date of purchase, and a photo of the damaged area so that we can confirm whether the damaged area of the handle lever is caused by a product defect.
